Terms and conditions
The terms for using Reconcible during early access.
About these terms
These terms are between you and Reconcible (“Reconcible”, “we”, “us”). They cover the app at app.reconcible.com and this website.
By signing in and using Reconcible, you agree to these terms and to the privacy policy. If you use Reconcible for a business, you confirm that you can agree to these terms for it. You must be 18 or older.
What Reconcible does
Reconcible reads data from your WooCommerce store, from the payment gateways you connect and from bank statements and purchases you add. From it, Reconcible works out profit, margin and cost of goods, and matches orders to gateway transactions, payouts and, if you import statements, bank deposits.
Reconcible only reads from your store. It never writes to it, never changes an order, a product or a payment, and never moves money.
Early access
Reconcible is in early access. We choose which stores join it: anyone can sign in, but an account can set up an organisation and add a store only once we’ve approved its email address. Reconcible is still being built: features will change, some will be added, and things may go wrong. Matching runs by itself after each payment-provider sync. The morning brief and Rico, described on this site as coming at launch, are not part of early access yet.
Not accounting, tax or financial advice
Reconcible isn’t accounting software and doesn’t give accounting, tax, legal or investment advice. It works beside your bookkeeping, not in place of it. Its figures come from the data your store, gateways and statements provide, and each is labelled when it is an estimate, when its cost is unknown, and how current it is. Check the figures, and take professional advice, before you rely on them for a filing or a decision.
Your account
You sign in with a link sent to your email address. Keep that email account secure, because anyone who can read it can sign in as you. Tell us at once at support@reconcible.com if you think someone else has signed in to your account.
An account owns an organisation, which holds your stores. A store belongs to one organisation.
Your data and connected services
Your data stays yours. You allow us to store and process it only to run Reconcible for you, as the privacy policy describes.
You confirm that you are allowed to connect the store, gateways and bank statements you connect, and that you may share your customers’ order details with us so that we can run Reconcible for you.
WooCommerce, WooPayments, PayPal and Stripe are run by other companies under their own terms. Reconcible depends on the data they return and on their being available. If one of them changes or withdraws what it offers, part of Reconcible may stop working until we adapt.
Price and payment
Early access costs $100 for three months, for the whole product. Payment isn’t taken on the site or in the app yet: we arrange it with you directly. Your three months start when you pay. If your store takes payments through Stripe, your three months start when Stripe matching works for your store instead.
After the three months, if you choose to continue, you pay for twelve months at half the list price, annually and up front. The list price isn’t set yet. We will tell you what it is before you decide, and we won’t charge you for the twelve months unless you agree.
Refunds follow the refund policy.
Stopping
You can stop using Reconcible at any time. Email support@reconcible.com to tell us. If you don’t continue after early access, your data is locked but kept and your store keeps syncing, unless you ask us to delete it. The privacy policy says how deletion works.
We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or puts Reconcible or other users at risk. Where we can, we tell you first and give you the chance to put it right.
Acceptable use
Don’t:
- connect a store, gateway or bank account you aren’t allowed to;
- try to reach another organisation’s data, or to get around a limit or a security control;
- overload, probe or disrupt Reconcible, or use automated means to access it other than as the app intends;
- use Reconcible for anything unlawful.
Availability
We work to keep Reconcible running and your figures current, but during early access we make no promise of availability or of any particular level of service. Reconcible is provided as it is, and to the extent the law allows, we give no warranties beyond those in these terms.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for lost profits, revenue or data, arising from your use of Reconcible. To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
Nothing in these terms limits any liability that the law doesn’t allow to be limited, or any rights you have under consumer law that can’t be taken away.
Changes to these terms
When we change these terms, we change the date at the top. If a change matters, we email each organisation’s owner before it takes effect. If you keep using Reconcible after a change takes effect, the new terms apply.
